Mammut Swiss Group AG, the Swiss manufacturer of clothing and equipment for alpine sports, has expanded its North American team with seven new hires in sales, operations, merchandising, marketing, and finance.
“These hires represent the next step in building a stronger foundation for Mammut’s future in North America,” said the company’s North America Managing Director Matt Kaplan. “We are attracting top talent across disciplines, bringing together a team that shares a passion for the outdoors and a drive to deliver excellence. This expansion positions us to better serve our retail and brand partners, reach new consumers, and continue delivering the innovation and trusted gear that Mammut is known for.”
The new hires include:
Marketing: Niel Mondava, trade marketing specialist
Merchandising: Summer Lombardo, merchandise manager
Sales: Chris McKearin, Commercial Manager; Cori Lawrence, marketplace manager
Sales Operations: Nikki Vest and Frances Silva, sales operations managers
McKearin joins the Mammut team, following a career at Salomon and Atomic, and stated, “Mammut’s legacy in mountain sports is unmatched, and I look forward to helping drive growth in our apparel category while continuing to support the brand’s foundational pillars—climb, ski and avalanche safety.”
Nikki Vest, formerly with VF Corp. and The North Face, added, “Joining Mammut is an exciting opportunity to bring my experience in sales operations and merchandising to a brand with such a rich heritage in mountain sports. I’m looking forward to building streamlined processes and systems that empower our teams, strengthen our retail partnerships, and help drive sustainable growth for the brand.”
