MacGregor Golf Company announced a number of promotions with four of them coming from within MacGregor Golf and one from outside the company.

“We are proud of the success of our new MACTEC NVG2 products with Cup Face 360° technology, and the increased performance and forgiveness that results from a clubface with no welds or inserts,” said Barry Schneider, CEO of MacGregor Golf. “With our largest customers, we have already shipped more products this year than we did in all of 2005. These promotions will help us manage our growth in a high quality manner and to accelerate our growth strategies in 2007 and beyond.”

Ken Kovasala has been named Regional Vice President of Sales. Ken joins MacGregor Golf with substantial industry experience in sales and sales management. Most recently, Ken served as a Regional Sales Manager for the Top-Flite and Ben Hogan brands. Prior to that, Ken was the Director of National Sales for Spalding Sports Worldwide.

Brian Diamond has been named District Sales Manager- Northeast. Brian has been promoted from a Sales Representative position within MacGregor Golf and has been a member of the PGA of America since 1995. Before joining MacGregor, Brian spent 6 years with the PGA as Senior Manager of Merchandising. He was responsible for sales, marketing and merchandising operations for the PGA Championship, Senior PGA Championship and Ryder Cup matches.

Dwight Hansen has been named District Sales Manager- Southeast. Dwight has been promoted from a Sales Representative position within MacGregor Golf. He has been a member of the PGA of America since 1995. Before joining MacGregor, Dwight was VP of Sales and Marketing for Silk4Golf Apparel and prior to that he was VP of Sales for Golf Coach.

Mark Hayden has been named District Sales Manager- Midwest. Mark has been promoted from a Sales Representative position within MacGregor Golf. Before joining MacGregor, Mark was a National Sales Manager for the Dynacraft Companies.

Jeff Simpson has been promoted to District Sales Manager- Central. Jeff has been promoted from a Sales Representative position within MacGregor Golf. Jeff has been in golf related sales for over 12 years, spending most of that time with Callaway Golf. Jeff was also a PGA Golf Professional for 5 years.
