Lee Weinstein & Associates, Inc. (LWA PR), a boutique PR agency based in Portland and the Columbia Gorge, has signed three more clients in the outdoor and bicycling space. They include:

  • Hi-Tec Sports USA, the company that created the lightweight hiking category and makes rugged, durable products for work, trails and life. Hi-Tec moved its USA headquarters to Portland, Oregon in January.  Hi-Tec's annual sales exceed $250 million. Emily Petterson, formerly of Columbia Sportswear, will head the Hi-Tec account for LWA PR, working with Anneli Ballard, formerly of NIKE and Cole Haan, who is based in New York City.
  • The Bicycle Transportation Alliance, which creates healthy, sustainable communities by making bicycling safe, convenient and accessible.
  • Oregon Manifest, a one-of-a-kind design/build competition that brings together custom bicycle builders and leading design firms to redefine transportation for the everyday lifestyle rider and to showcase American craft.

LWA PR also announced its first associate in New York City, Anneli Ballard, who formerly worked in communications for NIKE, Inc. and Cole Haan.

“We are thrilled to be working with these future-focused clients, each of which is dedicated to providing products and services to improve our lives,” said LWA PR President Lee Weinstein. “We are also so pleased to have Anneli Ballard on the ground for us in New York City. Anneli has a great relationship with NYC-based editors, and she was recently instrumental in our work opening Icebreaker’s first New York store located in SoHo.”

Weinstein, who is a former NIKE, INC. communications veteran, founded LWA PR in 2007 in Portland, Oregon and the Columbia Gorge. A member of PR Boutiques International, LWA PR specializes in communications strategy and public affairs.
