The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has inked a deal making DRIVE Headwear the exclusive and official headwear provider of the LPGA.

“The LPGA is excited to expand our branded product line for our fans,” said Karen Durkin, LPGA senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “We welcome DRIVE Headwear into our expanding global licensee family and are thrilled to be joining forces with industry leaders like DRIVE and Team Effort to offer both women and men high quality golf apparel for both their performance and fashion needs.”

Under this new partnership, DRIVE Headwear will develop a line of hats complementing The LPGA Collection, an LPGA-branded apparel line for women that debuted in May in Golfsmith stores nationwide. DRIVE Headwear will incorporate new styles and trends in conjunction with the LPGA to provide a functional, fashion-forward addition to the LPGA’s collection of branded merchandise and apparel. DRIVE Headwear also has an existing Bonus Pool Program that outfits more than 20 LPGA Tour players, including LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame member Beth Daniel, Karen Stupples, Becky Morgan and Wendy Doolan, with custom headwear.

“We are proud to announce our partnership with the LPGA,” said Tod Wagenhals, president, DRIVE Headwear. “We look forward to working with the LPGA, tournaments, sponsors and Tour players to create new, exciting and fashionable headwear for the LPGA and its fans.”

“We are pleased to be named the official headwear of the LPGA,” said Charlie Gerber, national sales manager, DRIVE Headwear. “Through this partnership, we are excited to create an innovative line of headwear available to green grass shops, tournaments and golf retailers.”
