L.L. Bean will be reopening its Natick Mall pop-up shop in Massachusetts June 30. The retailer opened its first-ever pop-up store in Natick for the 2013 holiday season activity at the kiosk-type shop exceeded expectations.

“We are pleased with how well customers responded to the pop-up store last holiday season,” Ken Kacere, senior vice president and general manager of retail, said in a statement. “Here in the Natick area, we have a very strong and dedicated customer base.”

L.L. Bean is opening the shop earlier for the back-to-school shopping season. It will carry backpacks, lunchboxes and tablet cases in the summer, as well as boots slippers and outdoor gear in the fall.

The shop will close in January, following the 2014 holiday season. L.L. Bean has full, year-round retail stores in Burlington, Dedham and Mansfield.
