Lids Team Sports, a division of Indianapolis-based Lids Sports Group, and the Valparaiso University Athletic Department have entered into a renewal agreement for three additional years. Per the deal, Nike will remain the official provider of Crusader uniforms and apparel for all student athletes participating in the 21 varsity sports teams. Lids Sports Group will continue to serve as Valpo’s supplier of Nike products.
“Over the past three years, our relationships with LIDS and Nike have been a valuable element within the equation of success for our athletic department,” said Mark LaBarbera, director of athletics for Valparaiso University. “We are pleased to have reached an agreement to continue these relationships with LIDS Team Sports and Nike, which we believe will outfit our student athletes with the best opportunity for athletic achievement.”

Lids Team Sports is a full service team dealer, custom screen printer, embroidery and sporting goods operator based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a division of Hat World, Inc. Hat World is a niche mall-based retailer of baseball caps and team fan shops operating primarily under the LIDS retail brand. LIDS Team Sports was founded in 2009 and is made up primarily of regional team dealers Anaconda Sports (Lake Katrine, New York), the former Brand Athletics (Tigard, Oregon), and the former Impact Sports (Madison, Wisconsin).
