Li Ning Co. Ltd. confirmed that Chief Product Officer Xu Maochun has left the company for “family matters,” according to the Global Times of China.
The paper reports that Xu's departure follows the Oct. 31 announcement that spokesman and public relations director Zhang Xiaoyuan had also left the company.
In May 2011, the company announced the departures of its chief operating officer, chief marketing officer and head of its e-commerce department, who all left “to pursue their personal interests.”
The Portland Business Journal noted that its U.S. headquarters in Portland has reduced its staff has been reduced from about 30 to 13 in the past year and a half.
