Leupold & Stevens, Inc. has announced the promotion of two employees.

The first, John Snodgrass, has been promoted to Marketing Communications Specialist.

Snodgrass has been at Leupold for the last 4.5 years, beginning his career with the company in Technical Services before being advanced to Customer Service Representative–the position he held until his latest promotion.

Prior to his employment with Leupold & Stevens, Inc., Snodgrass worked in the automotive industry, and was a member of the Oregon Army National Guard where he shot for the rifle team and competed nationwide. Snodgrass is a native of Oregon, and is a lifelong rifle and handgun hunter, competitor, target shooter and handloader. He enjoys spending time in the field with his friends and family.

According to Pat Mundy, Leupold & Stevens, Inc. Communications manager, “John is a great addition to the Marketing communications team. He brings a wealth of product knowledge, real world experience, and excellent communications skills that will make him a very effective member of our group.”

Leupold also announced the promotion of Michael Wunnicke to National Accounts Manager.

Wunnicke has been at Leupold for the last 3.5 years in the position of Product Line Manager for binoculars and spotting scopes. In this role, he has orchestrated the robust growth of the product lines, culminating in Leupold's 2011 Synergy Initiative.

Before coming to Leupold, Wunnicke was a Senior Project Manager and Category Manager at Adidas, where he was instrumental in developing products and the marketing strategies to successfully support them across the customer base. His experience also includes an extensive retail and national accounts background as a manager and buyer for a major footwear chain.

Wunnicke is a native of Wisconsin, and is a lifelong rifle and archery hunter who enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and two children.

According to Cyndi Flannigan, Sales Manager at Leupold & Stevens, Inc., “We are very pleased to bring Mike into the sales group at this exciting time in the company's history. With his proven background in project management, merchandising and account management, he will be an essential member of the sales team as we move forward with our initiative to better align and integrate our efforts with those of our key customers.”
