LeftLane Sports announced that its Cyber Monday sales were up 30 percent company-wide over last year. In addition, the company had its largest sales day in its history during its November promotion.

LeftLane Sports, an online retailer of outdoor gear and adventure travel experiences, attributes the success to its investments in customer-focused technology over the past year. Investments include complete redesigns of two of its websites Seshday.com and ACTIVE GearUp. Seshday.com, in particular, saw a 90 percent increase in conversion rate over last year’s Black Friday through Cyber Monday.

“We continued to see very strong growth in our mobile shopping conversion rates. We have put a lot of energy into creating a seamless mobile shopping experience. Faster site speeds, better filtering technology, and Instant Checkout, all launched within the past few months, has led to nearly 400 percent increases in mobile conversion rates across some of our websites,” said Erik Fialho, LeftLane Sports chief operating officer.

LeftLane Sports new Instant Checkout allows customers to speed through the checkout process in as little as one click. The technology is currently in its beta phase on the site but is already gaining traction among the company’s 14 million members. “Instant Checkout will definitely be a game changer in our mobile experience. This will save customers time and make their buying experience extremely convenient,” continued Fialho.

LeftLane Sports adventure travel sales also continued strong throughout the month of November. Travel sales are being led by LeftLane Sports’ Lowest Prices of the Year collection of 35 trips. Sales for travel experiences, one of the company’s fastest growing segments, are up over 50 percent over last year.

LeftLane Sports’ brands include LeftLane Sports, The Clymb, Seshday, ACTIVE GearUp, and PlanetGear.com.
