Ledlenser, a manufacturer of German-designed and -engineered headlamps and rechargeable lights, has named Inge Heinsius as vice president of product and marketing.

In this newly created role, Heinsius is responsible for managing global product innovation/development, product management and marketing. The position is based at Ledlenser’s headquarters in Solingen, Germany, reporting directly to Thomas Willing, managing director of Zweibrüder Optoelectronics GmbH & Co. KG and president of Ledlenser.

Heisius’ expertise lies in global strategy development, business and brand development, as well as innovation management, which she gained while holding international management positions at global companies including Godiva Chocolatier, Oriflame, Wella and Unilever. She is known for effectively collaborating across countries and departments.

Heinsius is tasked with advancing and strengthening the Ledlenser brand and establishing it as a global innovator in the portable light industry and tapping into new growth markets. In addition to the traditional industrial and professional core segments, Heinsius sees opportunities in the world of sports and outdoor.
