Nike will launch LeBron James' ninth signature shoe, the LEBRON 9, in October at a suggested retail price of $170. That's about $10 more a pair than Lebron's last signature shoe and it's the highest price for any basketball footwear sold at Nike's online store with the exception of a pair of Jordan shoes that sell for $175.

LEBRON 9 will roll out initially in China on Oct. 1, then hit the U.S. with a limited edition “Cannon” color scheme on Oct. 15. The primary black/red/white color scheme (shown above) hit U.S. stores Oct. 25.
