Leatherman Tool Group (Leatherman) has hired Robert Yturri as global vice president of sales and marketing, as the company “continues to evolve its business, expand its global footprint and accelerate its next phase of growth.
In this role, Yturri is expected to lead Leatherman’s global sales and marketing teams, oversee commercial strategy, brand development, go-to-market execution and customer engagement across all channels and regions.
The company said “Yturri will play a key role in advancing Leatherman’s growth objectives as a member of the executive leadership team, while strengthening the company’s position as a leader in the multipurpose tool category.”
“Robert brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, commercial expertise and a customer-led approach to our Leatherman team,” said Kris Hamper, president and CEO, Leatherman Tool Group. “His experience leading organizations through growth and change will be invaluable as we continue to expand our global reach and deliver innovative products to customers worldwide.”
The company said Yturri joins the company “with extensive experience leading sales, marketing and business development teams across consumer and lifestyle brands, including The North Face, Black Diamond Equipment, Obermeyer, Spyder, Kuiu and Forloh.”
Throughout his career, Yturri has “helped companies identify new growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and develop strategies that engage both new and existing audiences.”
