Cycling apparel brand Le Col will supply Britain’s Catford CC men’s cycling team for 2017.

Catford CC, which is backed by Geoff Banks, prides itself on nurturing young British riders to compete internationally and will be competing in Britain this year in races such as the Tour of Britain, Ride London and the Tour De Yorkshire.

Le Col, founded by former GB cyclist Yanto Barker, was founded in 2009 and now sells its Italian cycling apparel in 10 countries.

Barker stated, “We are very proud to be supplying one of the most elite and prestigious men’s cycling teams in the U.K. As well as growing our brand internationally, we are always looking to give back to the grass-roots cycling community in the U.K. and believe this sponsorship with Catford CC is a great way of doing so.”

Catford CC added, “We love Le Col’s premium cycling apparel and believe this deal will give our cyclists the best chance for success at the top level of British cycling in 2017.”

The deal comes as Le Col is in the midst of conducting a month-long crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to raise £1 million for 20 percent equity.
