Eric Charamel appointed Director of Lafuma Outdoor France and International Division. Eric Charamel has joined the Lafuma Group and will
be in charge of all outdoor business activities for the brand in France
and internationally.

Eric
is not only a mountain enthusiast but also a qualified mountain
guide. Throughout his career he has aimed at advancing his
professional experience in the mountain sector.

From 1989 to 1993 he held the position of General
Manager of the SID Group, owners notably of Degre 7. From there he
joined the Lafuma Group from 1994 to 1996 in charge of Outdoor product
development for the Lafuma International division before taking on the
position of General Manager of Millet within the Group.

From 1996 to 2003, Eric Charamel was appointed
Director Jansport France (VF Group) and was closely involved in the
acquisition operations of the Eastpak, Northface and Napapijri brands.

Eric then joined the operational management team of
the purchasing unit for SED and Synergies Sport, a structure comprising
the entities SPORT 2000 and the trade names Twinner, Veloland and TDS.

His knowledge of the Lafuma Group and the sports
and mountaineering worlds are marked advantages in accompanying the
development of the brand’s outdoor activity.
