Lacrosse Unlimited (LU), the Long Island lacrosse retailer, and lacrosse performance brand STX will host two free youth lacrosse clinics for boys led by Major League Lacrosse (MLL) player Kyle Harrison. The first clinic will be hosted by LU’s Babylon store on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the second hosted by LU of Miller Place on Wednesday August 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The field locations have yet to be announced.

Harrison is a three-time All-American at Johns Hopkins University who led his team to the NCAA title in 2005 leaving the Blue Jays as the team’s all-time leader in face-off winning percentage. He won the 2005 Tewaaraton Award, has played with the US men’s National Team and the MLL’s New Jersey pride. Harrison currently plays with the MLL’s Los Angeles Riptide and in his lacrosse career has garnered All-America, all-metro, and all-state honors. He has his own signature line of lacrosse gear with Nike/STX (K18).

Harrison and the staff members from Lacrosse Unlimited and STX will be sharing their shooting, dodging, defensive and passing techniques as well as the importance of sportsmanship to help build an all around good lacrosse player. It will be a full contact clinic; therefore, full equipment is required; helmet, shoulder and arm pads, gloves, mouth guard and stick. Those interested are being asked to visit any of Lacrosse Unlimited’s seven Long Island locations.
