La Sportiva N.A. announced the recent hiring of Mychele Lepinsky as the company’s marketing manager.

“Were thrilled to have Mychele aboard,” said Jonathan Lantz, President of La Sportiva North America. “She has an incredibly diverse resume, a keen perspective on brand strategy and an unmistakable passion for the outdoors.”

Lepinsky comes to La Sportiva with over 16 years of design and marketing experience. While her early career gave her a chance to prove herself as a graphic designer – the iconic Hilton logo is a highlight of her portfolio – she soon developed a passion for marketing and developing brand identity. Over the last decade, she has helped build marketing departments for two Colorado companies, and, in her recent position as Senior Product Manager at Time Warner, worked with programmers to shape and deliver a new user interface to over 16 million television viewers.

Her passion for the outdoors has been no less fervent. After 12 years as a competitive gymnast, Lepinsky shifted her focus to climbing, trail running and endurance events. The same energy and passion that has served her professionally helped bring her to a 6th place finish in the 2005 Steamboat Springs Triathlon.

“Working with La Sportiva represents an unparalleled opportunity for me to blend all my passions,” states Lepinsky. “La Sportiva has a strong brand identity, a devoted following in the outdoor space, and a decades-long tradition of making the finest footwear and equipment – it’s a marketing manager’s dream come true.”
