L Catterton, the LVMH-backed private equity firm with numerous investments in the active lifestyle sector, has appointed Stephanie Phair as a senior adviser. Phair currently leads brand consultancy Invisible Dynamics, whose clients include Gap, Theory and Nike.
Phair previously served as group president of Farfetch and executive chair of New Guards Group until May 2024. She has also served as chair of the British Fashion Council and sat on the board of Moncler S.p.A. Additionally, she has been an advisor to Felix Capital since 2016.
In her role at L Catterton, Phair will “apply her operating expertise and knowledge across consumer categories to support L Catterton’s portfolio companies globally,” the firm said.
L Catterton remains a majority shareholder in Birkenstock and also owns West Marine, 2XU and Taxa Outdoor. In the health and wellness space worldwide, current and past investments include Peloton, Equinox, EGYM, Soul Cycle, CorePower Yoga, FlyWheel, Pure Barre, Xponential Fitness, Tonal, Hydrow, BodyTech, ClassPass, and iFIT/NordicTrack, Megabass, Airxcel, Heartland RVs, Open Road Resorts, and RealTruck.
