Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, a buying and support group for about 70 outdoor specialty stores, added the apparel brand Kuhl as a Vendor Partner.

Kuhl, based in Murray Utah, makes technical gear and performance clothing with ergonomic designs that make for terrific sportswear and travel clothing. They offer active lifestyles products and often utilize organic grown cotton and merino wool in their products. Kuhl also innovates many of their own technical fabrics: Alfpaca fleece, Maxwoolschmart, Kuhl Skin, Technikore, Thermocore, and Coffeenna, a performance fabric made from coffee.

Kuhl promotes the values of Mountain Culture® and demonstrates respect for all people contributing to the well being of the planet by caring for themselves and the environment. The company and its staff believe that every step they take is an opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint. Kuhl makes the conscious choice to incorporate organic, sustainable materials and natural vegetable dyes. They are committed to reduce, reuse, recycle and help our environment. As a champion of human rights, Kuhl is a proud sponsor of High Road for Human Rights.

While Kuhl is a product driven company with a passion for the outdoor experience, they offer more to their customers-a commitment to the environment and individual cultures. Given this matches the ethos of many of the retail members of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, Kuhl is a natural partner for our group.

Representatives from Kuhl will be attending the 11th Annual June 2011 Grassroots Early Show in Ogden Utah.
