Kohl’s May Comps Jump 5.0%

Kohl's Corporation sales for the four-week period ended May 29, 2004 increased 20.2 percent over the four-week period ended May 31, 2003. On a comparable store basis, sales increased 5.0 percent.

For the 17 weeks ended May 29, 2004, total sales were up 14.3 percent over the 17 weeks ended May 31, 2003. On a comparable store basis, sales for the 17-week period increased 1.3 percent.
