Klymit hired former Goal Zero sales executive Bart Miller as its new vice president of sales & business development. Miller will be in charge of expanding Klymits distribution, to make Klymits ultra lightweight products available to more consumers worldwide.

Miller, pictured to the right, previously served as the vice president of sales at Goal Zero. In that role, he directed all sales activity, channel strategy, retail marketing and pricing strategy. Miller helped launch Goal Zero as a start-up business five years ago, and watched the companys  revenue grow from no revenue to $38 million in annual sales. Throughout his tenure with the company, Miller served as the COO and CFO before transitioning to sales.

In 2013, Miller was named to Utah Business Magazines 40 under 40 list of business professionals. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Weber State and holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Utah.

Miller looks forward to bringing his vast business knowledge to Klymit.

Klymit, which is based in Ogden, UT, makes sleeping bags, pads, apparel and other outdoor products. focuses on using new technologies to fabricate high performing outdoor equipment and apparel.
