At the 2009 SHOT Show, Kimber owner and CEO Leslie Edelman presented a check for $40,000 to the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation.
This presentation marked the continuation of a partnership formed in 2007 with the Foundation, one based on sales of the Kimber SIS .45 ACP pistol family. For each SIS pistol sold, Kimber contributes $15 to this cause.
The Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation is a cornerstone of the Departments Wellness Program. In their 35th year, the Foundation has granted over $11,000,000 to Officers and their families who have experienced catastrophic circumstances. Kimbers contribution and ongoing commitment gives the Foundation added assurance that financial assistance will be available in times of greatest need.
