Wendy Wieland Martin has been appointed Kellwood vice president
international trade services, according to Tom Austin, president of Operating Services Division of
Kellwood.

In this new post, Wieland-Martin, most recently director trade services for Kellwood, will
be responsible for overseeing the Company’s customs and trade compliance and government
relations activities.

Wieland-Martin, an international logistics and customs brokerage veteran, joined Kellwood
in February 1994 as manager export/import. Previously, she held various global sourcing
management positions with Fritz Companies, Inc., Unisys and Gan-Trans Ltd. She is a graduate of
St. Mary’s College of California with a B.A. in Management, and holds a Masters of International
Business from St. Louis University. She received her license as a customhouse broker in 1991.

She is currently serving her third term as an appointed member of the Department of Commerce
Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Textiles and Clothing (ITAC13), and has recently completed
two terms as chair of the Government Relations committee of the American Apparel and Footwear
Association.

Her expertise in international trade will help strengthen our presence in international markets and
enhance our opportunity to achieve Kellwood’s growth and profitability targets,” said Austin.

Based in St. Louis, Wieland-Martin will report to Austin.
