Kelty announced its cross country Wander Lost Tour for tech reps, May 25 to August 31. Stopping at over 400 retailers in 30 states while living in a specially equipped van and trailer, Kelty team member Andrew Piasecki will host product demonstrations and train store staff about Kelty’s latest products.

In addition, there will be contests and giveaways at Kelty-sponsored festivals – the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL., May 26-28, and Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Va., August 24-27.

“Visiting retailers and music festivals gives us an opportunity to have more personal conversations with vendors and consumers and generate feedback we will share with our product designers,” said Eric Greene, vice president of Kelty. “The Wander Lost Tour reflects the spirit of Kelty’s core customer who embraces an adventurous lifestyle on the road.”

The Wander Lost tour begins at Kelty’s headquarters in Boulder and travels through the Midwest, up the east coast and through New England before returning to Boulder on August 31. Kelty and Gear Junkie will host “Gear Junkie Shindigs” at the media outlet’s headquarters in Minneapolis, MN on June 6, Diamond Brand Outdoors in Asheville, N.C. on June 27, Ramsey Outdoor in Ramsey, N.J. on July 13 and Outdoor Gear Exchange in Burlington, VT on August 3 where attendees can view presentations on how to live the “van life”, receive discounts on Kelty gear in-store and enter to win Kelty gear prize packages.

The Wander Lost Tour will also highlight sister brands Sierra Designs and Ultimate Direction at retailer stops. Brands providing gear and goods to support “van living” throughout the tour include Barnana, Engle Coolers, Field Trip Jerky, Goal Zero, Munk Pack and Nite Ize.
