Keen Footwear announced its support of the Infamous Stringdusters’ 25-city Let It Go Album Release Tour.

Playing shows across the country this spring, the Infamous Stringdusters is a band that seamlessly and authentically weaves together their passion for great music and the outdoors. The partnership between the band and Keen was a natural fit since both share a commitment towards building communities and a healthier planet.

Taking a different approach with its music and fans, the Infamous Stringdusters works to raise awareness about protecting outdoor playgrounds and will donate $1 from each ticket sale and album purchase to the Conservation Alliance. A Keen partner since 2004, the Conservation Alliance’s mission is to engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values.

“At Keen, we combine our passions for the outdoors and community to make a difference,” said Linda Balfour, marketing director at Keen and board member of the Conservation Alliance. “Not only are we fans of the Infamous Stringdusters’ music, but we admire the band’s efforts to help protect the places we play.”

Stringduster bass player Travis Book said, “For our Let It Go tour, we saw an opportunity to bring attention to and raise some funds for our first love: the outdoors. Each one of us engages with the outdoors in our own unique way, but universally, the five of us and everyone on our crew and in our office places outdoor experiences at the top of our priority list.”

“Twenty-five years ago, four companies came together around a shared belief that the outdoor industry needed to do more to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values,” said Conservation Alliance Executive Director John Sterling. “This year we celebrate 25 years’ worth of conservation success and are excited to be able to amplify this celebration through our partnership with the Infamous Stringdusters’ Let It Go tour.”
