<span style="color: #808080;">It’s official. Karl Lagerfeld and Puma have created a 13-piece capsule collection of ready-to-wear that fuses haute couture with sport style.
The collection, launching worldwide October 19, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the original Puma Suede Classic sneaker.
The sport-inspired pieces include unisex suede sneakers, T7 track jacket and pants, jumpsuit, hoodie, sweat pants and logo tee. Rounding out the ensemble are accessories that include a shoulder bag, backpack and baseball cap.
The designers of the collection took their inspiration from Karl himself, who sports a daily uniform of a tuxedo jacket, high white collar, tie and sunglasses, shown left.
The “T7” reference comes directly from Puma’s iconic track jacket with 7mm stripes.
