K2 Skis has appointed Peter Iverson as its U.S. sales manager with responsibility for skis, boots, poles, helmets, goggles and accessories.

“We are thrilled to have Pete Iverson joining us as U.S. Sales Manager for K2 Skis,” said Tim Petrick, K2 president and CEO. “Iverson has tremendous experience in the business of skiing from the retail sales floor, to independent rep, and most recently as a national sales manager. His connectedness to the K2 brand and our customers runs deep and we’re looking forward to having him back in the K2 family leading sales.”

Shortly after graduating from Seattle University Iverson went on to work as an independent sales rep for a number of ski brands including K2 Skis. Most recently he led North American sales for The Soze Group of Richmond, B.C. and worked to develop the curriculum for his highly respected ski boot clinics.

“A little over 10 years ago I spent two great years working with K2 in the Pacific Northwest,” Iverson said. “From day one, I felt a passion and commitment to the brand that was unlike anything I had experienced before or since. After more than a decade, I am so fortunate to be able to return at this moment in time.
