K-Swiss, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, formed a multi-year agreement to become the official footwear partner of the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals), the governing body of men’s professional tennis.
Through the partnership, K-Swiss will provide footwear to ATP umpires, physios, and key officials while supplying footwear to ATP players without an existing footwear sponsor who wish to compete in K-Swiss.
As part of the collaboration, K-Swiss will create a collection of five ATP-branded tennis shoes that will be sold globally through K-Swiss, as well as through the ATP’s online retail store, and newly launched in-person stores at select tournaments. The ATP and K-Swiss will also work together on a range of retail, marketing and digital initiatives supporting the K-Swiss brand.
Eno Polo, ATP CEO, said: “K-Swiss is an authentic, tennis-first brand with a legacy in our sport spanning 60 years. Our shared history makes this partnership a natural fit. We look forward to working together to create new opportunities for our members while bringing the brand closer to players, tournaments and fans.”
Ding Shui Po, K-Swiss chairman, said: “Partnering with the ATP tells the world that tennis is at the core of everything we do and have done since 1966. As we mark our 60th anniversary, the ATP provides the biggest stage in tennis. This is a proud moment for K-Swiss and a testament to our long-term commitment to the sport.”
