Junk Food Clothing has entered into an apparel licensing agreement with
the National Football League to create a retro-inspired lifestyle collection. The Junk Food NFL Lifestyle Collection will make its better boutique, specialty store and department store debut for Holiday 2008.  In addition to its current distribution, the Junk Food NFL Lifestyle Collection will be sold on NFLShop.com, fan shops and at NFL stadiums stores, debuting October 2008.

“This is a perfect partnership”, says Blaine Halvorson, co-founder and president of Junk Food Clothing.  “We have put an incredible amount of focus on creating a collection that demonstrates our unique ability to blend vintage inspired apparel with classic NFL imagery.”

Junk Food Clothing, which was acquired by Delta Apparel in 2005, is known for its artistic detail with soft, weathered fabrications.

“Everyone loves our fits,” says Natalie Grof, co-founder and CEO of Junk Food Clothing.  “When you wear one of our shirts, it feels like you found it in the back of your closet from years ago.  And that’s really what you want in a t-shirt.”

“We are excited to partner with Junk Food to deliver this unique collection of NFL apparel to our fans and Junk Food customers,” says Susan Rothman, NFL’s vice president of consumer products. “With an ever changing market, we are confident that this licensing arrangement will reflect the nostalgia for the game of football in a new way and will take our apparel to an entirely new audience.”
