Jim Hill, President of SportHill announced that John-Paul (JP) Berg joined the SportHill Team and assumed the role of National Sales Manager vacated by Liz Wilson, who was promoted to the newly created position, Director of National and International Key Accounts.
In making the announcement Mr. Hill stated: “JP's experience as an regional
sales director and his many years as manager of Berg's Ski and Snow Board
shop, plus his expertise in selling performance apparel, make him an
exciting choice as SportHill's National Sales Manager. We are excited by
his leadership and communication skills and his overall knowledge and
experience of the outdoor market.”
JP comes to SportHill from Whittier Wood Products where he set new
standards for account and sales growth. A longtime outdoor enthusiast,
JP developed his marketing skills in the family specialty ski business where
he developed an appreciation for solid business practices, an in-depth
knowledge of market strategies and a sound working knowledge of
competitors products, programs and marketing methods. A devoted
husband and father of three, JP and his family enjoy a variety of outdoor
activities, especially downhill and XC skiing.
SportHill is excited about having a person of JPs caliber lead
the National sales effort.
