Jones Snowboards announced it is offering a three-year warranty on all its splitboards purchased after July 1, 2013, up from two years it offers on its solid snowboards.

“Our team is riding the most demanding backcountry terrain in the world where there is no room for error,” said Jones Snowboards Founder Jeremy Jones. “We need splitboards that we can completely trust and the durability and performance of our splits has proven to meet this demand. From hitting huge lines in the Himalaya to daily laps in our backyard mountain ranges, the quality of our splitboards has been tested on all terrain. We’re proud to extend this confidence in craftsmanship to every Jones splitboard rider with this new warranty policy.”

Jones Snowboard, which is entering its fourth year producing splitboards, sources its boards from Global Sports Technologies (GST), an Austrian manufacturer renowned for superior quality and environmental stewardship. To ensure top quality, GST requires all employees snowboarder and that riding experience helps set the quality standard for the industry. Jones Snowboard engineers also frequent the GST facility to help ensure product quality control.

“To build a good board, you need the best engineers and premium materials,” states Jones Global Brand Manager Xavier Nidecker. “The majority of our materials- including fiberglass, base, sidewalls and most woodcores-come from Europe near the GST factory. We work with European suppliers that have been trusted for decades to source the innovative materials that are the foundation of our cutting-edge products.”
