Johnson Outdoors Inc. appointed Bill Kelly group vice president Watercraft and Outdoor Gear. The decision to combine the two business units seeks to leverage channel synergies to drive continued momentum behind the cmpany’s paddling and camping brands among specialty retailers.
The following organization assignments were announced today:
- Paul Johnson is appointed senior director of sales, Outdoor Gear & Watercraft. Paul will oversee strategic sales programs and rep partnerships for Outdoor Gear Worldwide and Watercraft – North America.
- Sott Forristall, business director – Watercraft. In addition to his current Watercraft marketing, R&D and international sales and operations responsibilities, Scott will spearhead development and implementation of trade marketing strategies and plans focused on specialty channels. These strategies and programs will cross over both JOW and JOG. Sandra France will take on the new role of trade marketing coordinator, reporting to Scott. She will continue to support MEG in sales meeting planning.
- Gregg Gunderman is appointed regional sales manager Watercraft and Outdoor Gear. In that capacity, Gregg will be responsible for driving continued growth in both the paddle sport and camping categories within the specialty channel.
- Mark Hrubant is appointed senior brand director Camping. In this new role, Mark will oversee marketing and promotional strategies and implementation for all Outdoor Gear brands. Linda Grebe will retain her current responsibilities and now report to Mark.
