Johnson Outdoors, Inc. reported that David Johnson, VP and long-time CFO, intends to retire later this year, according to a regulatory filing. The company is commencing a succession process to identify a successor.
Johnson will assist and support the company in transitioning his responsibilities to his successor.
Johnson has served as the company’s vice president and chief financial officer, and as its principal financial and accounting officer, since November 2005. The company stated that “Johnson’s decision to retire is not due to any disagreement with the company concerning any of its financial statements or reporting matters or any of the company’s policies and procedures.”
Johnson Outdoors’ brands include Old Town canoes and kayaks, Carlisle paddles, Minn Kota trolling motors, shallow water anchors and battery chargers, Cannon downriggers, Humminbird marine electronics and charts, ScubaPro dive equipment, and Jetboil outdoor cooking systems.
