Johnson Health Tech, Inc.,
manufacturer of Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness, AFG, Horizon Fitness and
the LIVESTRONG line of fitness equipment, announced its
first-half results ending June 30, 2012, revealing a 26.5 percent growth
in North American sales over the corresponding 2011 time period for
Matrix, the company’s commercial brand. Matrix gained 21.1 percent in
global sales for the first half this year. JHT experienced a 14 percent
increase in overall global sales for all of its retail and commercial
fitness brands.

“We continue to
experience strong growth across all of our global subsidiaries in the
commercial segment,” said Vice President of Global Marketing Mark Zabel.
“We have several new product introductions across all brands and
segments that will produce continued growth throughout the second half
of the year.”

In addition to the
tremendous H1 growth for the Matrix domestic and international markets,
JHT experienced positive sales in global retail markets for both Q2 and
H1. Retail sales rose nearly 12 percent in North America in the first
half of this year. Asia experienced over 17 percent growth in retail
markets.
