Johnson Health Tech North America named Nathan Pyles president. Pyles, who has been with the company for 17 years, takes over for the departing Chris Clawson. In addition, Bob Zande, who has served as JHTNA's CFO since January 2009, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer.

Pyles has a long and successful history with JHTNA. He was the co-founder and president of Vision Fitness, one of JHTNA's home and commercial fitness brands. He also preceded Chris Clawson as president of Matrix Fitness where he helped increase commercial sales in North America four-fold in just three years. Pyles led JHTNA's research and development division for eight years, and prior to accepting his new position, he served on its Board of Directors.

In his new position, Pyles will oversee an experienced leadership team, which includes: Bob Zande, COO/CFO; Kent Stevens, Executive Vice President of Sales, Commercial; Gary Peak, Vice President of Sales, Specialty; and Mike Olson, Vice President of Sales, Sporting Goods and Mass Merchandising. Mark Zabel will continue in his role of Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Development, reporting directly to Jason Lo.

Bob Zande, who has served as JHTNA's CFO since January 2009, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer. Zande has 20 years experience in driving operational and performance improvement, and has held President, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager titles in a variety of industries throughout his career. Prior to joining JHTNA, he was the General Manager of the North American Exhaust Division for Cummins, Inc.
