Sport headphone and technology company Jaybird has hired former Nike Inc. senior leader Jamie Parker as its new president and chief executive officer.

Parker has served in various leadership positions at Nike, and brings experience from both global roles based in the U.S. and leadership roles in Europe and Latin America. He most recently served as global general manager of Nike’s Lifestyle Retail Concepts, and previously held roles as general manager of Nike Sportswear in Brazil, and general manager of Nike Manchester United based in the U.K.

He has held strategy and product roles across Nike’s Football, Baseball & Athletic Training, Running and Tennis businesses. He earned an MBA from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University.
