JanSport, which is owned by VF Corp., announced the opening of its first global flagship store. The store is located in Seongsu neighborhood in Seoul, South Korea.

The two-level store, located at 3 Seoulsup 9-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, covers approximately 2,130 square feet.

Jansport said the opening “marks an important step in JanSport’s expansion in Asia and shows the brand’s commitment to connecting with younger consumers through reliable products and engaging brand experiences.”

The flagship also represents the first time Jansport has offered a full lifestyle product range in a physical retail store, including an expansive backpack range but also its upcoming apparel collection, featuring hoodies, T-shirts, pants, and caps, ahead of its official launch on August 10. It also emphasizes interactive experiences and storytelling.

Jansport said, “The store moves beyond a backpack-only retail model. It offers a more modern and fashion-focused experience. Customers can explore interactive areas, including the JanSport Pack Studio, where visitors can create their own bag charms. The store also includes curated storytelling that highlights the brand’s history and identity.”
