ISIS named Evan Wert as VP of sales. Effective immediately, Wert will focus on expanding ISIS’ sales including outdoor specialty retailers, key accounts and other retail channels including international distribution.

“Evan Wert is an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” said Carolyn Cooke, co-founder and president of ISIS. “Evan brings enormous sales and marketing experience to the position. He understands our vision for the brand and is adept at selling to and servicing the winter sports and outdoor markets.”

As VP of sales, Wert will lead the ISIS sales effort by managing the existing independent rep force and expanding sales and product placement. Wert’s experience will also assist ISIS in identifying products that address customer needs, developing new opportunities while enhancing the ISIS brand image. He will also work with ISIS marketing to ensure that the ISIS brand positioning is clearly and effectively communicated to dealers and end users. Wert will work along side co-founder and president, Carolyn Cooke, and the rest of the ISIS sales and marketing team.

Wert has worked in sales and marketing in the outdoor industry since 1983. Most recently, he was Director of Sales and Marketing for Bite Footwear, in the Outdoor and Specialty markets. Prior to this he was the Vice President of Marketing for Superfeet insoles of Ferndale, Wash.
