Interbike has made improvements to its annual OutDoor Demo bicycle trade show to be held in Boulder City, Nevada September 24-25, 2007. Still located in Bootleg Canyon, the new exhibition booth area has been relocated approximately 350 yards to the west and has been improved by Boulder City's Parks and Recreation with new landscaping, curb and gutters, and new pavement. In addition, the expo area's new location provides OutDoor Demo attendees improved access to mountain bike trails in the area, as well as paved roads for road bike testing.

The 2007 OutDoor Demo exhibit area footprint includes 59,800 of net-sold, square-feet and still continues to grow as some exhibitors increase their space and others return to the event.

Interbike's OutDoor Demo provides retailers from all over North America, international retailers and members of the media the opportunity to test 2008-model bikes and accessories from more than 130 exhibitors. Exhibiting companies at OutDoor Demo include Bell Sports, Cannondale, Giant, Kona, Scott USA, Shimano, Specialized, SRAM, and Trek Bicycles, to name a few.

Bootleg Canyon, home to one of the International Mountain Bicycle Association's (IMBA) “Epic Rides,” features

  • · Extensive groomed trail network,
  • · Professionally built BMX track,
  • · Closed-road loop,
  • · Downhill-specific trail, and
  • · Dirt-Jump Demo.

“The new expo area is a huge improvement,” said Lance Camisasca Interbike's show director. “With new landscaping and pavement, the expo area is easier to get to, less dusty and it allows exhibitors and attendees to more comfortably interact with each other. We're excited for everyone to see and use the new area.”

Interbike's OutDoor Demo runs Monday and Tuesday, September 24-25 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PDT) each day. The indoor portion of the show, the Interbike International Bicycle Expo, runs Wednesday through Friday, September 26-28 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
