Interbike, a unit of Nielsen Expositions, was expected to announce as early as Friday that it plans to move the nation’s largest bicycling trade show from Las Vegas back to Anaheim, CA next year.  The show will also be moved up to early August in 2011, according to reports in the trade press.

Anaheim and Salt Lake City were competing for the show. The show moved to Las Vegas in 1998, but the Anaheim Convention Center, which is near Disneyland and within a resort, has since undergone a major expansion.
