Interbike has forged its first formal partnership with the Bicycle Products Suppliers Association (BPSA), the trade organization representing bicycle, parts and accessories vendors. The two organizations will now work more closely together to plan the show.

Interbike also announced it is offering an 8% discount in booth fees to exhibiting BPSA members and freezing exhibition rates for the show and its outdoor demo for the third year in a row.

Under the new arrangement, Interbike will help pay for top line market research commissioned by BPSA so the organization can dedicate more resources to other missions needed to drive membership growth.

“I think we can all agree the BPSA is an essential industry organization and increased membership engagement will make it even more effective,” states John Nedeau, president of BPSA and VP of global sales for SRAM Corp. “The new partnership with Interbike will help us provide additional services benefiting BPSA members and is a creative way to help members justify dues.”

The 2011 edition of the show will be in Las Vegas Sept. 14-16.
