Interbike has inked a deal offering major savings for exhibitors at the 2005 Interbike International Bicycle Expo through a new agreement with GES Expositions. The new program will cut costs on basic services, including labor for booth set up, selected furnishings and material handling.

Interbike has teamed up with GES to provide the following rate reductions, which will go into effect for the 2005 Interbike International Bicycle Expo at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. Discounts below are off 2004 published rates:

  • Material Handling/Drayage – 17% to 22% reduction
  • 200 lb minimum reduced to 100 lb minimum
  • GES Labor – 15% reduction
  • Marshalling yard and weight certificate fees eliminated
  • Select GES Furnishings – 15% reduction
  • Standard Booth Carpet – 15% reduction
  • Discount Rate Deadline extended

Beyond delivering a focused trade event for the industry, the new Interbike/GES discount program will provide a financial break to exhibitors – ultimately increasing the return on their investment.

“We continue to look for ways to make Interbike more affordable for our exhibitors,” said Lance Camisasca, Interbike show director. “These discounts will make a big difference in the overall cost of participating – without lowering GES service standards, the working atmosphere or the Interbike experience. Regardless of booth size, were delighted to announce that every Interbike exhibitor will benefit from this program in 2005.”
