InSport International has added 10 new Sales Reps in the past 90 days in the Northeast, Metro New York, Florida, the Rockies, Ontario, California and the accompanying Southwest region including Hawaii. The sales force will report directly to current President and CEO, Eric Merk as he takes on the role of National Sales Manager.

“We feel that we have completed our sales force with talented independent reps who all have extensive experience and great reputations within the industry,” states Merk. “These new hires augment an already strong sales team, one that we feel will continue to establish the InSport brand as a leader in the industry.”

Brian Mills of Ontario, Canada will head up the sales in eastern Canada. Brian’s background includes sales representation for Asics shoes and apparel. Charley Kellogg, formerly of Champion Jogbra, will be targeting the New England and Upstate New York areas. Ruth Lasala will head up the metro New York and northern New Jersey area. Ruth also has extensive apparel experience including sales for both Moving Comfort and Tyr.

In the South, InSport is looking to Brian Milmoe to represent the brand in Florida. Brian has represented Saucony shoes and apparel and Etonic running shoes. Tim DeYoung will be working to expand the InSport presence in the Rocky Mountains.

With continued growth in the California and surrounding areas, InSport is excited to welcome the Hartford Sales Group and agency principal Larry Hartford, along with Justin Hartford, Kevin Alexander, Kevin Hirsch, and Jeff Ballard. The group brings collective experience from other industry brands such as Hind, SportHill and Canari.

With the United States and Canada now fully represented, InSport looks forward to watching sales grow and brand image strengthen in 2005. “We view our efforts to fill every sales territory as a part of our continued commitment to excellence, quality and customer service,” says Merk. “We look forward to working with such a passionate and committed sales force.”
