Innovative Eyewear, which owns the smart eyewear licenses for Reebok, Nautica and Eddie Bauer, reported sales surged 71 percent in the first half ended June 30, to $1.77 million.

Second-quarter sales expanded at the same 71 percent rate year-over-year, to $0.99 million, according to preliminary results.

Innovative Eyewear said, “Growth continues to be led by the Lucyd Armor smart safety eyewear line, with sustained demand across the company’s direct-to-consumer, online marketplace, and wholesale channels.”

The Lucyd Aero, a lighter version of its smart eyewear range, is set to launch in October 2026.

The Miami-based firm said it’s accelerating its wholesale strategy, “which it expects to be a meaningful driver of revenue in the second half of 2026 and beyond.”

Innovative Eyewear also reports receiving an initial purchase order from a “leading Canadian optical retail group that operates 345 locations” for its Lucyd Armor range, with the product expected to reach stores in the third quarter. The company was also awarded a 50-store test with a “major U.S. retailer,” which it expects to begin in September 2026.
