IMBA's international headquarters and main U.S. office will move across town in Boulder, CO on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. IMBA will be closed for business on that day.

IMBA, which stands for International Mounting Biking Association, has called Boulder its home since 1994. The relocation to a larger space five miles east of IMBA’s current location will allow for a more collaborative environment and future staff expansion. The office is also designed to function as a meeting space and training center for IMBA chapters, land managers, city planners and the like.

“We want the new IMBA office to be a place for training, collaboration and idea sharing that enhances chapter capabilities and fosters tighter connections between IMBA and its grassroots network, as well as among chapters,” says Mike Van Abel, IMBA's executive director. “IMBA is an association, meaning it’s so much bigger than the staff. I hope to regularly see chapter leaders in our office.”

The new location is a short ride from Valmont Bike Park, one of the premier bicycling facilities in the nation.

Please note that no one at IMBA will be available to take phone calls or answer emails on Jan. 3, and response times immediately before and after that date will be slower than usual due to the heavy staff involvement required to make the move. IMBA thanks you for your understanding.

IMBA's new address is 4888 Pearl East Circle, Suite 200 E, Boulder, CO, 80301, less than 500 feet down the street from the headquarters for Outdoor Industry Association.
