Icebreaker announced a two-year partnership with the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival, which kicks off with this years event Nov. 1-9, 2014. The festival hosts filmmakers, authors, athletes and brands from the outdoor industry during a nine-day program of films, books, art and presentations with many filmmakers and authors in attendance produced by the world-renowned Banff Centre. As a major sponsor, Icebreaker will also be on the road with the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour as it makes its way to approximately 350 stops throughout Canada and the United States beginning this November and continuing through late 2015.

Icebreaker is thrilled to partner with the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival alongside such a prestigious group of filmmakers, authors and partners, says Justin Walford, General Manager of Icebreaker Canada. The festivals rich and impressive 40-year history of bringing the outdoor culture to life through storytelling aligns perfectly with Icebreakers mission to inspire adventures in nature.

Icebreaker is included in a 7-minute film festival trailer that will be shown prior to each film screening during the two-weekend festival, as well as prior to each showing of the films on the 350+ stops of the North American Tour.
As part of the partnership, Icebreakers Tech Tee Lite has been named the Festivals official limited edition tee shirt. The bestselling 100% merino wool tee with Banff Mountain Graphic will be offered up in two colorways for men and women-black, cadet for men and black or cruise for women. The tee will be available for sale during the Festival and throughout the Canada and United States Tour, and at Icebreaker TouchLab stores in Canada and the U.S., and icebreaker.com and liveoutthere.com. Icebreakers base layers, socks and underwear also represent the festivals official next to skin layering gear.
