Chinook LLC has been appointed as Icebreaker’s sales rep agency for the mid-Atlantic region. Chinook principal and industry veteran Ben Tindall will be leading Icebreaker’s continued growth in the area, supported by sales partners Andy Correll and Paul Wu, also of Chinook LLC. Tindall brings over 20 years of outdoor industry experience and an established sales network to the brand.

Icebreaker USA’s National Sales Manager Greg McRoberts sees Tindall as the right choice both professionally and personally. “Having known Ben for many years, he is a perfect fit to represent Icebreaker in the Mid-Atlantic region,” said McRoberts. “Ben and his agency are known for taking brands to the next level, as well as living the lifestyle that Icebreaker and its native New Zealand represent. We’re looking forward to continued growth in the mid-Atlantic, as we are seeing with Icebreaker at a national level.”

Mid-Atlantic territory sales of Icebreaker’s merino layering apparel have increased 68% for Spring 06 and are up 74% so far for Fall 06, with a projected growth of 153% for Spring 2007.

Chinook LLC will be supporting specialty dealers throughout Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
