Ibex Outdoor Clothing announced that Justin Singer of the Pacific Sierra Group has taken over sales representation for Ibex in the Southwest region, covering the states of California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

Headquartered in Truckee, CA and led by co-principals Dana Davol Muxen and Justin Singer, the Pacific Sierra Group is an independent sales rep team of avid outdoor enthusiasts and outdoor industry veterans with a combined 50+ years of industry experience. The Pacific Sierra Group has a unique agency structure and assigns leads to each of its brands. While others in the group will be involved, Singer is the lead on Ibex.

The Pacific Sierra Group also represents Eagle Creek, Mountain Hardwear, Atlas Snow-shoe, G3, Tubbs Snowshoes, Madshus, and Snow Peak.

“We are thrilled to welcome Justin and the Pacific Sierra Group to out sales team,” said Jackton Downard, Director of Sales, Ibex. “The size and structure of the Pacific Sierra Group and the depth and breadth of the group’s experience in the industry were all key factors in our hiring decision. We have full confidence that Justin and the entire Pacific Sierra team will broaden our exposure to retailers in the Southwest region.”

“We are very excited to be working with Ibex,” said Singer. “I've been a personal fan of their product for quite some time. We see great growth potential for the brand and the Merino wool category. Ibex has a lot going for them including, but not limited to, distribution in numerous categories and the fact that most garments are sewn in the USA,” he noted.

Singer added, “Under the leadership of Ted Manning and Jackton Downard, we have the utmost faith that Ibex is on track for massive growth. There is a pent up demand for Ibex in our region. We hope to add retail outlets throughout the territory to better represent the brand.”

Ibex just unveiled its Spring 2015 collection at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market that comprises 40-percent new styles and a bright, bold new color story.
