Hydro Flask, the maker of insulated stainless steel flasks, revealed plans for a new state-of-the-art headquarters facility in Bend, OR. After two years in its current Northwest Crossing location, the company’s continued growth has spurred the need for a larger space and an elevated office design that will support the brand’s outdoor-loving culture.

Down the street from their current location, the new headquarters will be situated at the corner of York and Lolo, just minutes from the world-class singletrack of Phil’s Trail. Set to break ground this summer, the modern, 12,000-square foot office building will incorporate a variety of unique features including a hydration station, bike corral and showers for post-lunch exercise outings. In addition, team members will have access to beverage taps and specialty coffee equipment featuring Hydro Flask customers’ microbrews, kombucha, and roasted coffee. With panoramic view windows and roll-up doors facing the Cascades, the space will embody Hydro Flask’s fun and adventure-oriented brand culture.

An integrated research and development center with product design, engineering, and testing will live alongside sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. There will also be an open space for team members to collaborate and socialize.

“We have built an incredible team and we’re excited to design a facility from the ground up-one that reflects the company’s values and culture,” said Hydro Flask CEO Scott Allan. “We look forward to inviting our community, key partners, and employees’ families to come celebrate with us at our open house in 2016.”

Steele Associates was selected as project architects, SunWest Builders will act as general contractor, Connell Hull is the agency for key elements of interior design, and Central Oregon development company TaylorNW will share in the ownership of the new facility.

Hydro Flask continues to experience extraordinary market growth and now has a total of 50 employees, half of which have been hired since January 2014.
