Hydro Flask, a leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks, now a Helen of Troy Limited, company, signed on as a sponsor of REI Outessa. The series of three-day outdoor events are designed to connect women with the outdoors in a supportive learning environment. These women-specific getaways are filled with activities and inspiration and offer access to coveted gear and products, serve up great food and wine and create an environment for making new friends and lasting memories.

Hydro Flask will be the Official Water Bottle and Drinkware partner of REI Outessa. Participants will receive a limited edition 21 oz. Standard Mouth bottle engraved with an Outessa logo. Additionally, attendees have the option to visit Hydro Flask’s tent and lounge area to create their own customized My Hydro bottle where they can choose from five bottle, strap, cap and silicone boot colors to make their own design. Hydro Flask will also sponsor a campfire happy hour at each Outessa event.

“REI Outessa offers the perfect environment for women to gather and enjoy the outdoors,” said Hydro Flask VP of Marketing Phyllis Grove. “These moments and experiences rooted in outdoor adventures align perfectly with Hydro Flask’s values. We are excited to support an event series that inspires women to be their best while spending time in nature.”

“I had the most amazing experience at last year’s REI Outessa event at Kirkwood Mountain Resort,” said Hydro Flask influencer Elena Pressprich. “I made friends that I will have for the rest of my life, learned new skills and gained a greater appreciation for spending time outside with other women adventurers.”

More than 20 of REI Outdoor School’s top female instructors will partner with leading outdoor brands to host a full range of adventures, including hiking, trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, trail photography, paddle boarding, kayaking, climbing, yoga, backpacking, wilderness survival training, outdoor cooking and more.

“Last year, REI Outessa was a transformational experience for hundreds of women. We are excited that Hydro Flask has signed on to provide their premium, insulated products for the events. Together with Hydro Flask and other partners, we will help women tap into an emotional and profound connection to nature in their journeys to live a life outside,” said REI Events Manager Sally Johnson, who helped create the Outessa series.

Since its inception in 2009, Hydro Flask has expanded its presence to 17 international countries and grown to become the number one overall American water bottle brand in Sporting Goods and Outdoor, according to Sports One Source SSI reporting.
