Hunter Mountain, the Vail Resorts-owned ski resort located in New York’s Catskill Mountains, appointed Chuck Randles as vice president and general manager, effective July 15.
Most recently, Randles served as general manager of Wilmot Mountain, overseeing operations at Wilmot, Mount Brighton, Hidden Valley, and Snow Creek.
Over the course of his more than 20-year career, Randles has held senior leadership roles focused on both hospitality and resort operations, including positions at Keystone, Lake Tahoe resorts and Park City.
“Chuck is a proven leader with a passion for people, operational excellence, and the guest experience,” said Tim Baker, senior vice president of Vail Resorts’ Regional Destination Resorts. “His ability to build strong teams, foster meaningful community connections and deliver results makes him the ideal leader to honor Hunter Mountain’s legacy and build on the resort’s strong momentum coming off its most successful season in years.”

Randles is currently serving on the boards of the Midwest Ski Areas Association (MSAA) and SOS Outreach.
